"Lisa S. Brown is a noted artist whose work hangs in numerous private and corporate collections. She has been selected to exhibit in many regional, national, and international juried art shows.
The Wrightsville, Georgia native attended Young Harris Junior College where she studied under the tutelage of the late Ezra Sellers. ""It was from Mr. Sellers that I truly learned to appreciate art, and by his teaching that I began to develop my talent."" said Mrs. Brown. Upon graduation from Georgia College with a B.S. in Art, Lisa worked for 10 years in television as a commercial artist and courtroom illustrator. She now devotes her time to the fine arts and owns her own gallery, Brown/Zimmerman Galleries, LTD., along with her partner, Fred L. Zimmerman III.
Lisa's paintings and drawings are finely detailed and reveal a keen sensitivity for human emotion. Her versatility allows her the freedom to execute a widely varied range of subject matter, whether it be commissioned estate paintings, architectural renderings, or portrait characterizations recalling her roots in the deep south."
