"mpressionist C. James Frazier began his study of art in High School. Tutored by sculptor Arthur Morgan and watercolorist Gladys Frazier, he was encouraged to make art his life's work. After High School, Frazier went on to study at the University of Southwestern Louisiana and later at Holyoke in Massachusetts. He was then accepted to the Art Center College of Design and finished his studies at the State University of California.
Though Frazier's main medium is oil, he also enjoys watercolor painting and mixed media drawing. Just as his medium may change, so often does his subject matter. Frazier refuses to paint the same thing twice. His subjects can range from children, to landscapes, to peaceful garden scenes.
C. James Frazier belongs to no organizations, opting instead to be an individualist. He now resides in Vermont."
