"Mary Maki Rae is a self-taught artist who was born in Brainard, Minnesota. She now lives on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands, State of Washington.
Her limited edition prints (each edition limited to no more than 175 prints for national distribution), are most individual in style, subject matter and color choice.
Two of her prints, ""Flora Dora"" and ""High Flyer"" were chosen for the permanent collection of the Jacksonville Art Museum in Florida. Fifteen years have been well used to create not only her serigraph prints, but have also been used to develop an extensive following for her three dimensional fantasy characters made of wood and fabric."
