"Born in Windhaven, Holland in 1929. Studied art in Paris and Munich, and settled down in the artists colony on the Starhemberger Lake close to Munich. He frequently travels to the Bretagne or the Petits Isles, those islands with the rocks, in order to find new subjects. However, he has not forgotten the cities of his homeland which he paints in all seasons. The artist owes his success to his dramatic palette combined with his personal technique.
