"Rob Leslie, of Turnsville, New Jersey, has spent many solitary hours in the wetlands of numerous states studying the habits of waterfowl and other wildlife species. His loving tribute to these creatures is reflected in his paintings.
Since beginning his art career in 1985 he has designed ten state duck stamps and prints. He has twice won the states of Delaware and New Jersey as well as the 1987 Pennsylvania and 1987 Idaho ""first of state"" contest. His paintings were also chosen for the states of North Dakota, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. His paintings have been finalists in the federal duck stamp contest.
Rob's original oil paintings are displayed annually at the prestigious ""Gold Room"" of the Easton Waterfowl Festival.
Rob was selected as the 1996 International Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year."
